Interview: Uncensored the Doc

Interviewed on Wednesday August 15 for an upcoming documentary entitled: "Uncensored."

Uncensored is a 70-minute documentary that recounts the lives of journalists during the most violent years of Colombia’s history. In the 1980s, Pablo Escobar’s narcoterrorism war tore the country apart and by 1985 Colombia had the highest murder rate in the world. Throughout the 1990s drug lords and corrupt government officials controlled the country. Those in power used intimidation tactics, kidnapping and murder to silence the courageous journalists who sought to expose corruption.

The documentary is sponsored by the Southern Documentary Fund.
